At the end of 2015, little Clodagh McCann made headlines selling vege plants to raise money to meet her idol, Jamie Oliver.
Renato Zanoli, a Waiariki BoPP chef tutor, presented the happy hobby chef with a Jamie Oliver cookbook - and as it's never to early to start - invited the local culinary star to join our own master-chefs in training in the Diploma in Patisserie and Bakery class for a day.
Brooke McCann, Clodagh's mum, later emailed Renato, thanking him for helping her daughter live her dreams after the pint-sized kitchen whiz footed it with our best - and made some amazing cakes in the process!
"We can't thank you enough for inviting her to come along, she is still buzzing about her lesson and tells anyone who will listen - when I came to pick her up she was grinning from ear to ear! Thank You again for taking the time to encourage the little chef inside of her and helping her to follow her dreams."
