2008 Regional Statement

Throughout February and March 2008, a series of Regional Facilitation workshops were held in six locations throughout the Waiariki Rohe, consulting with:

  • education and training providers
  • community groups
  • government organisations,
  • Iwi organisations,
  • industries
  • wider stakeholders and anyone with an interest in tertiary education.

The outcome of which, was to capture and identify the information required, to update the Regional Statement, a high level document outlining the region's tertiary education needs, gaps, priorities and future trends.
