Waiariki Investment Plan 2011 to 2013
The New Zealand Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) requires that all publicly funded tertiary education institutions have an approved Investment Plan.
The Investment Plan is Waiariki’s document that will, for a three year period, guide the development and delivery of tertiary education to meet the needs of students, employers, and communities within the Waiariki rohe.
Key aspects of the Investment Plan are:
- Greater collaboration between Waiariki and tertiary education providers through establishment of networks of education and training provision at regional and niche national levels;
- Engagement between Waiariki and the TEC in the development of this Investment Plan that will fund and drive the development of Waiariki within the network of provision; and
- Robust education performance indicators to protect the government’s investment and to ensure that the educational outcomes are delivered.
