Waiariki School of Forestry and Primary Industries is equipped to train people for careers in forestry and wood manufacturing in four distinct areas.
Waiariki's Forestry Courses: Forest Management, Forest Operations and Solid Wood Processing programmes prepare job-ready graduates. Our Biotechnology courses will provide a pathway for persons interested in plants, tissue culture and a career in science.
From primary industry roles – such as Silviculture and Practical Logging, on to processing and manufacturing – Saw Doctors and Timber Machinists, all the way through to Forest Managers and Harvest Planning.
