Manaakitanga Programme*
Supporting you on your journey to success
The Manaakitanga service is designed to foster a culture of success and empower students to achieve their potential. Our team are passionate about the benefits of education for individual students and their whanau/families and are dedicated to doing all we can to ensure students graduate.
Kaitautoko /support staff work alongside tutors, administrative staff, WITSA and other support services at Waiariki to provide a caring learning environment.
Manaakitanga recognises that there can be a number of challenges for students in their own personal lives which, if not addressed, could jeopardize effective learning. The role of our team is to ensure students have a safe and friendly option to discuss any concerns and assist them to access the support they may require with the aim of becoming successful and independent learners.
You can contact our team by phoning 346 8993 or by email manaakitanga@waiariki.ac.nz
