Parchments and Academic Transcript
On successful completion of a qualification, graduands will be eligible to have an official parchment conferred/awarded, either at Waiariki’s formal graduation ceremonies, or, in absentia.
Applying for a Parchment
On successful completion of a Waiariki formal qualification, graduands must complete either
in order to receive your parchment/s.
Please note:
- The application form applies to only formal qualifications offered by Waiariki (i.e., certificates, diplomas, degrees and post-graduate qualifications)
- Please refer to the Waiariki Qualification Code and Official Title list

Replacement Parchments
On successful completion of a qualification, graduands will be eligible to have an official parchment conferred/awarded, either at Waiariki’s formal graduation ceremonies, or, in absentia.
If an original parchment has damaged, destroyed, stolen, or lost, an application may be made to Waiariki to have the parchment replaced.

Academic Transcripts
Every student enrolled at Waiariki Institute of Technology has the details of their academic achievements recorded in the institute's student management system. A Transcript of Academic Record lists all courses on which a student has enrolled, by qualification, and the final grade. All current students may receive one transcript per year free of charge.
For students wishing to order an academic transcript at any other time, an Application for Transcript of Academic Record must be completed. Please note, a fee may apply.

It is important that you read these instructions carefully as incomplete application forms will not be processed.
If you have any questions or need assistance completing the forms, contact your school or regional administrator.
It is important to submit your form as early as possible!
You are encouraged to apply even before completing your qualification if you are confident of success. The earlier you apply, the sooner you will receive your parchment.
All applications must be marked for attention: Parchment Coordinator Data Management Centre if mailing (refer to the instructions document for the correct address), or to ResultsDMC@waiariki.ac.nz if submitting by email.
