Applying for a Parchment

On successful completion of a Waiariki formal qualification, graduands must complete an Application to Receive Your Parchment Form in order to receive your parchment/s.

Please note that:

• This form applies to only formal qualifications offered by Waiariki of 40 credits or more (i.e., certificates, diplomas, degrees and post-graduate qualifications), as listed on the Waiariki Qualification Code and Official Title list.
• For any National Qualification*
  Parchments (other than those on the Waiariki Qualification Code and Official Title List), you must apply directly to NZQA via their website: www.nzqa.ac.nz
  Please do not apply to Waiariki for your National qualification parchment/s. (You may only apply to Waiariki for any National Qualifications that are specifically included on the Waiariki Qualification Code and Official Title List).
  

It is important to submit your Application to Receive Your Parchment Form as early as possible (you are encouraged to apply even before completing your qualification if you are confident of success). All applications must be marked for attention: Graduation Coordinator if mailing (refer to the instructions document for the correct address), or to graduation@waiariki.ac.nzif submitting by email:

• If you wish to receive your parchment at the official graduation ceremony the deadline for the application is indicated on the application form. Note an Application for the Hire of Academic Dress form MUST also be completed if you intend to graduate and receive your parchment at this ceremony.
  
• If you wish to receive your award in absentia the earlier you apply, the sooner you will receive your parchment.

Attending Graduation

Important: If you are graduating in person you MUST complete the two forms below. Payment for your regalia needs to be made to the Waiariki cashier.

Both forms must be returned with payment by
Friday, 16 December 2011.
