This certificate provides the knowledge required for vehicle service and electronic control within the automotive light motor industry.

Award information

Knowledge and skills you will gain

  • diagnose and rectify faults in suspension, electronic and control systems within the automotive light motor industry; and 
  • gain credits toward the National Certificate in Automotive Engineering (Level 4).

Entry criteria

Admission and entry requirements for this qualification are in accordance with the academic regulations.

As part of the condition of your enrolment you will be required to return a clean drug test within the first 2 weeks of study.
