Award information

To achieve the award of the Short Award in Professional Studies students must pass a total of 30 credits from the specified core courses.

Knowledge and skills you will gain

Graduates will have the skills and knowledge to be able to further their professional practice working with adult learner and will be able to:

  • demonstrate awareness of the importance of research, and have the knowledge and skills of a beginning researcher;
  • plan and implement a small research project; and
  • present the findings of a research project in a written report and oral presentation.
