This programme prepares you to enter the construction workforce in a range of areas, including as an apprentice.

Specialist strands in this programme
There are two strands to choose from - Allied Trades for general construction skills, or Carpentry for a specific carpentry focus.
Carpenter, joiner, plasterer, painter or roofer
To complete the Allied Trades strand students must pass courses: BULD3059, BULD3060, BULD3061 and BULD3062
To complete the Carpentry strand students must pass courses: BULD3059, BULD3060, BULD3063, BULD3064, BULD3065, BULD3066, BULD3067, BULD3068, BULD3069
Admission and entry requirements for this qualification are in accordance with the academic regulations.
Students must be physically capable of meeting programme requirements. Applicants are also required to attend an information session where students must demonstrate their ability, interest, motivation and commitment to succeed in the programme.
