Course Aim

The aim of this course is to provide students with a broad applied knowledge of the concepts of designing, creating and testing computer games.

Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  1. understand basic game making concepts;
  2. analyse a game making development platform and identify issues relating to it;
  3. write a high concept document;
  4. understand the legal, moral, and ethical dimensions of creating computer games; and
  5. demonstrate understanding of game development and production.
