The aim of this course is to provide students with the knowledge to critically analyse and apply information management skill in a business environment.
On successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- evaluate the role of information technology and apply information systems as part of organizational culture;
- analyse business information needs and utilize information systems to: facilitate communication; store and present data; and to manage time and human resources; and
- analyse information systems and evaluate impacts, benefits, security and compatibility issues for business.
