Course Aim

The aim of this course is to allow students to apply the key elements of leadership, teambuilding and communication knowledge and skills to their role in a commercial forestry context

Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Develop strategies to establish, maintain and monitor positive relationships in the workplace
  2. Plan group/team activities involving goal setting and group negotiation
  3. Facilitate group/team activities to achieve objectives with some complexity
  4. Evaluate group/team outcomes
  5. Prepare and deliver an oral presentation to an audience
