The aim of this course is to provide students with the knowledge of the roles and responsabilities of persons acting as a Health and Safety Representative and on a Health and Safety Committee, and of the requirements for managing contractors working on a site.
On successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Relate the application of health and safety legislation to the roles and responsibilities of Health and Safety Representatives in the workplace
- Examine the types, establishment and operation of workplace Health and Safety Committees.
- Explain the health and safety roles, responsibilities, monitoring and management requirements for contractors performing work on a site.
