The aim of this course is to develop students’ knowledge and skills in client consultation, enabling them to carry out in-depth hair and scalp analysis, and to support colleagues within the hairdressing salon environment to provide recommendations to clients on salon products and services.
On successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Use effective communication and consultation techniques to determine client expectations and service objectives.
- Carry out in-depth hair and scalp analysis including identification of a range of hair, skin and scalp conditions, and maintaining accurate client records.
- Provide advice and support to colleagues and clients on hair and scalp conditions.
- Make clear recommendations to colleagues and clients on appropriate products and salon services in accordance with client consultation and hair and scalp analysis outcomes.
