Course Aim

The aim of this course is to further develop students’ practical skills in elementary hair styling services including blow-waving, setting and hair-ups. Students will learn to use a range of hair styling techniques to create a variety of looks.

Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Undertake client consultation and hair and scalp analysis to determine hair styling service requirements.
  2. Prepare for and perform a range of elementary hair styling services.
