On successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- describe the purpose of a risk management plan, contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of a risk management plan within a health, disability and aged care context;
- define characteristics of abuse and describe strategies that enable support workers to manage abuse circumstances within the health, disability and aged care context; and
- explore a range of assistive mobility techniques and devices that support safe ambulatory management of those within the health, disability or aged sector.
