The aim of this course is to enable students to investigate principles of clinical supervision for professional practice. Students will use theoretically informed practices in implementing an effective clinical supervision relationship.
On successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Critically analyse models and educational theories of supervision.
- Use research to correlate applicable organisational, ethical, professional and legal frameworks of supervision practice.
- Evaluate and implement reflective practice for clinical supervision.
- Investigate and apply strategies to clinical supervision.
