The aim of this course is for students to demonstrate understanding of the role and responsibilities of the support worker in relation to consumers of the health care and or disability setting.
On successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Describe consumers’ rights in the health or disability setting
- Demonstrate understanding of managing challenging situations within the Health and or disability setting.
- Describe the role and professional behaviour of the support worker within the health and or disability services.
