Course Aim

This course will revise basic mathematics and introduce students to the fundamentals of algebra and statistics.

Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. calculate fractions to decimals, to percentages and increase/decrease quantities by given percentages;
  2. combine and manipulate algebraic expressions; and
  3. discuss inferential statistics and formulate hypotheses.
