This course will provide students with the ability to perform outdoor activities in crossing rivers, rafting, kayaking and mountain biking.
On successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- cross rivers;
- demonstrate rafting skills on sheltered or slow moving water;
- demonstrate sea-kayaking skills on slow-moving or sheltered water;
- roll a sea kayak;
- mountain bike on intermediate to expert terrain; and
- select, set up, and maintain a mountain or cycle touring bike.
