The aim of this course is to equip students with the skills required to guide clients at a Grade 3 level.
On successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- describe the rules and regulations governing commercial rafting operations in New Zealand and a Safe Operation Plan;
- provide customer service for clients on rafting trips; and
- prepare and execute rafting that promotes client safety while providing an experience that takes into account their expectations and needs.
