The aim of this course is to enable students to apply the knowledge and skills fo trip planning, leadership, risk management and first aid skills to an outdoor activity.
On successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- analyse and apply leadership skills to an adventure tourism activity;
- manage risk for an outdoor activity;
- analyse weather data and predict weather conditions for a particular activity; and
- execute first aid skills applicable to an outdoor activity.
