Wood Manufacturing

New Zealand’s plantation forests are expected to grow in value over the next 15 years. Forest managers manage entire forests and provide logistical support and quality control. Forestry operations workers convert trees into logs, preparing the primary product for the next stage of sawmilling. Solid wood processing is the remanufacturing of a renewable timber resource into value added products for local and international markets.
