Course Aim

This course will provide students with the skills and knowledge to identify common livestock health issues and how to encourage livestock well being and control livestock parasites and diseases. This will course will provide students with a knowledge of livestock feeding requirements and principles.

Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate knowledge of livestock health and care principles
  2. Demonstrate knowledge of parasites and diseases of cattle
  3. Demonstrate knowledge of feed requirements of cattle
  4. Demonstrate knowledge of cattle feeding systems
