Course Aim

This course will provide students with the knowledge and skills to produce a computer flatfile database, including querying, reporting and end user documentation.

Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  1. plan, create and use a flat-file database including end user documentation;
  2. prepare data for data entry and maintain an organisation database;
  3. generate database reports; and
  4. understand the purpose of database operation.
