Course Aim

The aim of this course is to provide students with the necessary skills and confidence to facilitate a career as a Senior Administrator or Personal Assistant by gaining knowledge in managing conflict, working with teams, writing business correspondence and evaluating and applying customer service techniques for different behavioural styles.

Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  1. identify and clarify issues of interpersonal conflict;
  2. select, develop, implement and evaluate strategies to manage an interpersonal conflict;
  3. identify team strategies to enable a group to effectively plan a function;
  4. write business correspondence for specific purposes; and
  5. identify, apply and evaluate customer service techniques to accommodate customer behavioural styles.
