The aim is for students to demonstrate an understanding of the nature and purpose of auditing, the regulatory requirements and the process of auditing including auditing standards.
On successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- analyse the nature and purpose of auditing;
- discuss the regulatory and professional requirements of auditors; and
- examine an auditing process and the role of auditing standards.
