Course Aim

This course provides students with the opportunity to research, select, integrate, and apply a range of techniques and technology in the solution of a complete realistic problem.

Learning outcomes

  1. Develop a solution for a real industry standard project to a client’s requirements
  2. Prepare a project proposal and plan.
  3. Analyse and document user requirements.
  4. Research and critically evaluate new developments.
  5. Select appropriate techniques and technologies to apply to the project.
  6. Apply the selected techniques and technologies.
  7. Document and present the project process and deliverables.
  8. Analyse the project solving process followed, and identify possible improvements.
  9. Identify and analyse ethical issues as they arise.
