This course provides students with the opportunity to develop knowledge in an area of interest within their subject discipline. The student, with assistance from the supervising lecturer, will present a written proposal outlining their intended area of study. This will include the purpose of, and rationale for undertaking the study, learning outcomes to be achieved, content to be included, proposed assessment method and learning resources to be utilised. Once the proposal has been accepted by the School Academic Committee the project/area of study is then undertaken and subsequently assessed.
