Course Aim

Students will develop ability to apply language-learning strategies to understand and respond to simple English.

Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  1. understand basic spoken English for routine social interactions on familiar topics
  2. use basic spoken English for routine social interactions
  3. use information from short simple written texts for routine social interactions
  4. write simple sentences for routine social interactions, such as thanking someone for something
