The aim of this course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to develop and implement a hazard management system for a business, a Health and Safety plan for a specific workplace, and a plant or machinery hazard management plan.
On successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Describe, implement and monitor a hazard management system for a business.
- Relate health and safety legislation to a Health and Safety Plan developed for a specific workplace.
- Identify and explain plant and machinery hazards, methods for controlling these hazards and their legislative requirements.
