Students will explore the application of theoretical concepts of infection prevention and control in national and international healthcare settings.
- Explore the relevance of current infection prevention and control practice in its historical context.
- Critically analyse options to prevent the transmission of infectious organisms in healthcare settings.
- Research and discuss standards and guidelines underpinning infection prevention and control practice nationally and internationally.
