Develop capability in monitoring and maintaining work practices relevant to the reception hub in the hotel accommodation sector including health, safety and security requirements, staff and guest communication and interactions, and individual and team service delivery.
On successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Monitor and maintain health, safety and security, hazard control, compliance and reporting practices in accordance with legislation and establishment requirements.
- Monitor and maintain staff and guest interactions and communication to ensure service delivery outcomes are met.
- Determine workplace practices and requirements for different roles within a hotel environment.
- Relate the application of standard operating procedures to different work roles within a hotel environment and their connection to the hotel reception hub.
