Course Aim

The aim of this course is to provide students with knowledge and skills enabling them to analyse sales and marketing cycles within the hotel industry and to develop a strategic marketing plan and sales tactical plan.

Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  1. analyse and discuss hotel target markets and product differentiation processes;
  2. identify and evaluate marketing methodologies and promotion within the hotel industry;
  3. analyse, develop and appraise a Strategic Marketing Plan; and
  4. analyse, develop and appraise a Sales Tactical Plan.
