Course Aim

The aim of this course is to enable students to demonstrate knowledge of security systems and procedures to ensure the security of cash and valuable items; manage and identify factors that result in redundant and obsolescent stock; and establish and maintain stock levels in a retail or distribution environment.

Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate knowledge of security systems and procedures used in a retail or distribution environment.
  2. Maintain and take care of stock.
  3. Manage redundant and obsolescent stock in a retail or distribution environment.
