Course Aim

Gain a variety of techniques measuring a range of environmental variables, and evaluation of the most appropriate methods to manage and monitor the health of the natural environment.

Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  1. apply a range of monitoring techniques specific to different environments and species;
  2. formulate and produce an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Plan;
  3. perform pest control techniques on a range of plant and animal species; and
  4. develop and design an advocacy plan and fundraise for an environmental project.
