Gain the skills and knowledge required for undertaking basic farm maintenance using plumbing, carpentry and welding techniques.
On successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- demonstrate and apply knowledge of work hazards and safe work practices in relation to general farm maintenance;
- identify, use and maintain basic plumbing, carpentry and welding tools and equipment required for general farm maintenance;
- safely perform farm maintenance tasks using plumbing, carpentry and welding techniques; and
- perform mathematical calculations for farm maintenance tasks.
